Brahmamuhurta is the "Creator's Hour" - a sacred 48-minute period that begins 1 hour 36 minutes before sunrise. Ancient wisdom considers this the most auspicious time for spiritual practice, meditation, and self-improvement.

We use your location to calculate the exact sunrise time at your position, which determines your personalized Brahmamuhurta window. The timing varies by location and changes daily throughout the year.

Alarm delivery depends on your device settings. Check:

• Notification permissions are enabled for Brahma
• Battery optimization is disabled for the app
• Do Not Disturb is not blocking notifications
• The app is not force-closed
• Important: Open the app at least once a week. We schedule alarms 7 days ahead, so the app needs to refresh this periodically.

When the alarm rings, you'll see Stop and Snooze buttons on the notification:

• Stop: Silences the alarm and reschedules for tomorrow
• Snooze: Silences for 5 minutes, then rings again

The app will briefly open to process your choice - this is normal.

Subscriptions are managed through your device's app store:

• iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
• Android: Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions

Go to Settings in the app and tap "Delete Account". You'll be asked to type DELETE (all caps) to confirm. This permanently removes all your data from our servers. See our detailed deletion guide.

Yes! Once you've set your location, the app calculates Brahmamuhurta times locally. Internet is only needed for account sync and subscription management.
